Lost iPhone

I know it’s been a while, and believe me I’ve had PLENTY to talk about, but I thought I would talk about the fact that I have “lost” my iPhone. I use the word lost in quotations, because there is still a chance that it could be at the hotel I stayed at. When I woke up from a fun night (that may or may not have involved alcohol) I didn’t have my phone or my glasses. I’m usually good about keeping my phone with me, but I had no clue where my phone was. I wasn’t too worried because I didn’t leave the hotel and the fact that I couldn’t find my glasses either probably meant I misplaced them.

When I started asking my friends if they had seen my phone or glasses, they were all wondering why I wasn’t freaking out. Let me explain. I regularly back up my pictures/videos/messages/apps/etc to my computer. So if my phone is truly lost or stolen, I still have all the memories I need on my computer. Another thing, my phone is REPLACEABLE. I can easily go to apple or sprint and buy a new phone. Yes it’s a waste of time and money, but it’s not like I had the last phone on the face of this earth. The great and amazing thing about iPhones is that they have this amazing “find my iPhone” feature, so I can track my phone. According to the app I used on my friend’s phone, my phone is still at the hotel. I keep telling people that it’s not a big deal that I can’t find my phone. Say my phone had been stolen…I have the iPhone 5s. In order to get into my phone, you have to have my fingerprint or my passcode. And even if someone got into my phone, I don’t think there’s much they can get from my phone.

I figure, it’s more of a health hazard to stress about my misplaced phone. Stress doesn’t do anything positive for your body, mood or behavior.

The effects of stress on your body are:

  • Headaches
  • Muscle tension or pain
  • Chest pain
  • Fatigue
  • Change in sex drive
  • Stomach upset
  • Sleep problems

The effects of stress on you mood are:

  • Anxiety
  • Restlessness
  • Lack of motivation or focus
  • Irritability or anger
  • Sadness or depression

The effects of stress on your behavior are:

  • Overeating or undereating
  • Angry outbursts
  • Drug or alcohol abuse
  • Tobacco use
  • Social withdrawal

I don’t need anything of this happening to me all because of a missing phone.

I’ve recently been starting my days with positive affirmations which has led to this positive thinking. Check out this website that will show you just how you can benefit from these affirmations.
